Who is Joris Demmink?

2012 was the year that the pedophile tendencies of well known show-business figures as Jimmy Saville became public.  Tragically, it quickly became clear that many who worked with Saville knew that something was amiss.  Presumably, despite the suspicions, nothing was ever done.

I'm sure that many in the UK will not have heard of Joris Demmink.  Demmink is a long-standing establishment figure in the Netherlands, having just retired from the position of Secretary General of the Justice Department.  For decades, Demmink has suffered from allegations that he has sexually abused under-age boys.

In October of this year, the US Helsinki Commission held a briefing on child sex trafficking.  The Chair of the commission, Congressman Chris Smith, has called for the US Secretary of State to seek to remove the seat of the International Court of Justice from the Hague due to the failure of the Netherlands to investigate allegations made against Demmink.

Is it my imagination, or is it becoming increasingly obvious that the establishment is populated and being run by criminals and sexual deviants?
