Contemporary History is Propaganda

Leroy Fletcher Prouty (1917 - 2001) served as Chief of Special Operations for the Joint Chiefs of Staff under President John F. Kennedy.  His job was to set up and run an organisation which could offer military support to CIA global "clandestine" operations.

As a result, Prouty became aware that the major political decisions that shape world affairs are made by people and in ways that are kept secret from the general public.  Mainstream history as a consequence is  therefore inaccurate and, in many cases, serves as propaganda to divert attention away from the real agenda.

This experience resulted in Prouty publishing two books, "The Secret Team" and "JFK: The CIA, Vietnam and the Plot to Assassinate John F. Kennedy".  Prouty also served as adviser to Oliver Stone during the making of the "JFK" movie; Stone apparently based the "Mr. X" character in the film on Prouty.

In the interview below, Prouty gives a his own short but fascinating perspectives concerning a few of the major events of recent World history.
